Seaching 'Snyder' right now twitter is a comedy goldmine.

This is the content I crave.

I’ve blocked so many of them that I can’t even see the meltdown!

On a serious note though, do they not realise that Snyder himself is probably pleased for Gunn? This is great news.

DC Studios? Sounds a bit derivative.

It is what it has been called for a long time. Difference is it now has pretty much been made independent of Warners Brs Studios proper and is close on the WB T and O charts to what Marvel Studios is on the DIsney T ant O charts. The bosses will report directly to the CEO, and not have to through the Warners Studio head.

I think Snyder himself has accepted that the SNydererse is not coming back.

But not his fanboys.....

The report also states that movies like Joker 2 won’t fall under James Gunn’s supervision. I assume the same would also apply to the Batman universe that Matt Reeves is building.

That is wierd aince one would assume any DC Studio film would come under Gunn's supervision.

Though I think GUnn would proably give Joker 2 and Reeves Batman franchise  a lot of freedom.

I would imagine the Reeves Batman universe will be overseen by Gunn. The reason the Joker films won't is probably because those are just completely separate from anything else.

I'm very curious to see the timeframe of the first big DC announcement that comes out of this.

So, are they going to try and merge the Reeves universe with the DCEU or what? Come to think of it, The Rock did say that he’d like Black Adam to meet Barry Keoghan’s Joker. One thing’s for sure, there’s definitely zero chance of Jared Leto coming back with Gunn at the helm.

I'd say very unlikely.

I can see an argument for The Batman Universe having to run it by Gunn as it could intersect with whats happening in the mainline DC Universe (similar, conventional stories - what if two different Mr Freeze's are the villains in two movies coming out close to eachother, etc.).

The Joker movies are so far removed from everything they're unlikely to cause any creative issues.
