Oh definitely. If this does at least $100M domestically and extremely well overseas especially in China, Lucasfilm will have to, for sure, treat his character with more respect. I hope Boyega pressures them as well.

 

Most people are expecting PRU to bomb in the US, but I really think it has a chance to breakout if other alternatives aren’t appealing to the general audience (AWiT, RedS, TombR, RPOne).

Some of y'all are WAAAAY over exaggerating. This film doesn't capture the excitement of the first, but definitely doesn't look bad.

 

This is going to do extremely well overseas.

Just how much was the VFX budget cut for Pacific Rim 2? Some of the scenes in the new trailer look downright laughable
