A beautiful tribute, but Peter O'Toole should have been before Phillip Seymour Hoffman, along with Shirley Temple and Roger Ebert.

 

RIP! Can't believe how many people we lost this year.

 

To be fair, I think the feeling is more raw with PSH since it happened only a month ago. Plus he was still in his prime. The others were either way past their prime or done with their careers. PSH still had a lot of great, productive years remaining.

All in taste I guess - I felt cinematography and editing were necessities but the sound techs could have gone elsewhere...

Although it's sad when someone dies, Esther Williams is not that well remembered. Most of her movies were pretty forgettable. She shouldn't have been after O'Toole, Temple, Fontaine, Ebert etc.

 

Such a weird ranking of the deceased.
