over a year for VFX? hmm they have a full teams and top top vfx artists and incredible rendering capabilites.

I think it's possible that the Avatar 3 in Dec 2023 has been an internal debate between disney and lightstorm for a long time, and looks like Jim has won

Have to admit, I am genuinely surprised they didn't drop a trailer for this at D23.

 

Next most logical date is w/the re-release, but I won't be surprised if they make that a weekend exclusive as well, before putting it online.

 

Just odd marketing strat all the way around.

 

(not exactly an unfamiliar one, however :ph34r:)

yeah I think the trailer will be an exclusive to the remaster

I’d love to know the answer to that question, too. Personally, I hope so. I intensely dislike HFR, and wish they weren’t trying to push this format. I certainly don’t want it to become the norm, either.
