FilmBuff
Seems like they tried to incorporate too much of the stuff that happens nwa. Prolly should've left it out!
BoxOfficeFangrl
Fun fact. The fastest growing radio format is classic rap. Which should bode well for the movie. [citation needed] NY Times: How Hip-Hop Is Becoming The Oldies tl;dr Many examples (with numbers) of stations shifting to this format being instant massive success stories. One station in Indiana went from 15th in its market to 1st in three weeks after shifting from Hot AC to Classic Hip-Hop. Which may explain why a music biopic in August is tracking for a $40 million-plus OW. Edited August 1, 2015 by BoxOfficeChica

Travod
Reading some of the reviews has helped me clear my thoughts about it. It really does get into a LOT of stuff... From a hilarious drug raid where the cops use a gigantic battering ram tank to break down the door which sends a woman literally flying across the room to AIDS . 7/10 People praising cinematography: not really special. Serviceable. Less ugly than some other movies.
Jonwo
Is the Tupac biopic still on the cards? If this does well, I imagine a studio will want to greenlit it
kowhite
Is the Tupac biopic still on the cards? If this does well, I imagine a studio will want to greenlit it If this does really well, they'll be green lighting a Nelly biopic.
jimisawesome
If this does really well, they'll be green lighting a Nelly biopic. A Luther Campbell mini series needs to be the first thing green lit if NWA is as big as it looks. It will have it all sex, football, arrests, court drama, Miami at the tail end of the coke era and the beginning of the bling era.

DAJK
I hate John Campea Why? Sure he's a bit of a fanboy but one thing I've always seen in him in a way I haven't seen in anyone else is real passion for what he does. You can tell this guy loves movies.
