With an early 6.8 avg it will most likely slip into the 70s with a chance for 60s.  Like Mag 7 for the kind of film it is that enough, it's not a prestige pic dependent on great reviews or where great reviews as opposed to good reviews would make much of a difference.  It's far more disaster movie than eco drama.

I don't disagree per se, it's just, did you look at the size of that budget??

Yes though as discussed earlier that before tax rebates.  After it's still a considerable $121m but that's just $13m more than The Mag 7 and about the same as Passengers.  If it plays like a disaster film O/S it should be fine.  Moreover, if it follows Lionsgate's M.O. they've sold off most if not all of the foreign territories and have covered their budget plus some marketing that way.

 

Not that I wish anything but B.O. ill will toward Marky Mark. :ph34r:
