GuardiaStar
What are your top 3 films for this year? It's not what film overall wins the BO, it can be your own rankings from personal preference. I know it's been a great year for movies. My Top 3: 1) Guardians of the Galaxy 2) Big Hero 6 They both ran emotional homeruns with me 3) The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 (Looking forward to another emotional homerun!) I feel like they're all tied essentially for the first rank but I'll rank them like this for now.

TServo2049
I also didn't see many films this year, and the one upcoming release I am seeing will almost certainly not rank in my top 3, so I am comfortable in giving my top 3 out of what I've seen the year: 1. How to Train Your Dragon 2 2. Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Big Hero 6

Avatree
I have only seen about 35 films this year. Only?! That's like almost one a week. I've seen 20-something films so far which is more than any year before. I only really got into the cinema last year. Before last year, I saw 3 films max at the cinema per year. 2012 was just Skyfall and The Dark Knight Rises (I think), for instance. I'd love to go every week but it's just so much money. By the end of the year I'll have gone over 30 times, and it feels like I'm there all the time!
