She's a perfectly fine actress and pretty, but seriously doubt she'd be the reason why more people would go and watch Into the Woods. The ensemble cast as a collective, fairy tale movie at Christmas, lack of other options this year and well known characters would be the major pulls at this time of the year. The theaters here in town had 7pm shows for both the holdovers and the movies that are opening today. That was pretty much the limit though. Movie poster for Julia and Julia is both Streep/Adams. Movie poster for Devil is both Streep/Hathaway. Movie poster for Hope Springs is both Streep/Baldwin. Streep is somewhat of a draw, but it makes more sense to have included Kendrick in more of the marketing since the target audience of Into the Woods is probably females between 10-17 years old. The last shows are at 4 PM and that is if the movie is under 2 hours long. Hobbit only had one show yesterday.
