A bit disappointed by JW2 I dunno.

I think that the mythology that was introduced & suggested in the first movie should have stayed, well, suggested

Unfortunately the movie was all about the Mythology.

 

 

 

Action was great if not a tad repetitive, how many headshots a movie can get ?

 

Keanu Reeves & Tom Cruise are now confirmed vampires, doing stuff on screen that 30y won't even try.

 

What was a surprise to me here were the sets and the production design, beautiful, creative, giving a fantastic mood to every scene and action/set piece.

 

Am I the ony one to think there is a Brazil/Terry Giliam homage, a bit like in Jupiter Ascending ?

 

So yeah, great action but I just cannot buy the over the top mythology of this world.

 

Still a good time at the movies.
