Plain Old Tele
People will probably be able to guess most of my top 25, but there are 5-6 that should be at least somewhat a surprise.
Fancyarcher
Mad Max and Road Warrior are two of them. Edited March 11, 2015 by Fancyarcher

IndustriousAngel
We watched Abyss a few days ago, still a very powerful film, and in its days it was really claustrophobic on the big screen.

The Stingray
My only gripe is that The Good, the Bad and the Ugly has only gotten like three likes. That's a GOAT contender, dammit! Edited March 11, 2015 by The Stingray
baumer
My guess is Internship and lots of Steven Segal movies will make the list.
James
After 70 titles I still haven't heard of more than 15% of them. As for Star Trek, STiD is better than ST 09. The rest are trash.

4815162342
It's hard to be cynical or skeptical about Tele's list. A lot of enjoyable classics. And then James has to wade in with a completely wrong opinion about Star Trek.

If it doesn't have good effects then it is by definition a bad movie. Plus, the old cast is also pretty meh next to the new one.

Just because the new Treks have been spun out with modern blockbuster sensibility doesn't mean that they in any way represent the core of the franchise.

baumer
Imo Crimson Tide is bloody brilliant. Aragorn and Tony Soprano are great but so is Fabbrizio and even Silver Spoons dude.
vc2002
I almost lost my mind when Harris tells Mastrantonio to FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!!!! Powerful beyond words. This was the second movie to make me shed a few tears. How can you talk about that scene without posting the clip. It's actually quite a quite surprising scene because I bet everyone would think Lindsey was dead until of cause the plot "turned around". Goddamn it you never backed away from anything in your life now fight FIGHT FIGGGHHHTTT! Edited March 11, 2015 by vc2002
