I don't know if ultimate frisbee is anything like frisbee golf, but if it is, then smoking weed is mandatory.

As I've entered my later years, I've settled into disc golf, and I'd say ultimate is less weed-intensive than disc golf, but still moderately so.  That having been said, its a high hurdle because disc golf might be the most pot-intensive activity I've ever done.  Which is too bad, because I gave up pot a long time ago.  Still, I drink my beer, they smoke their pot, and everyone's happy.

The movie is a fucking disaster. Maybe if it wasn't it would have actually made money you know?

Agreed.   And the horrible casting decisions were a part of that disaster too.

I wonder if the people who have a problem with the casting realize they are racists...

Can't take social justice warriors serious.   They just throw out random insulting labels toward anyone who disagrees with them.    A person is allowed to not like changes to characters they like so your generalizations are ridiculous...especially since you don't even know the people you are labeling.   

 

You're just proving all the people right who said things like, "If Obama wins, no one will be allowed to disagree with him without being called a racist".   You actually make things worse with that kind of idiocy.

While the MI5 number is more than normal, that's pretty ugly for F4. As I stated yesterday, recent mid summer SH films dropped between 18-23% on their first Sundays.

 

The Wolverine: -21.6%

GOTG: -17.8%

TMNT: -19.6%

Cap: -20.6%

Ant-Man: -22.4%

Hellboy 2: -21.6%

Only time Grievous was ever palatable was Genndy's cartoon series.

I'm very late in saying this but Grevious was a total badass in the 2D Clone Wars series. Makes the way they treated him in RotS almost criminal.

Gee?? So then what??? It would've made 35M instead of 25M??? At that point, what difference does it make?? That's nothing to be proud of FOX..

 

Ten million dollars is nothing to sneeze at.  And at least it would've been THE NUMBER ONE MOVIE IN AMERICA!  Whoopee... but that's better than getting embarrassed by MI5.

 

Still, I question how in the world any "analyst" could come up with that number.  There were SO many negative variables to take into account, besides just Trank's tweet.  And how many movie-goers were even aware of it???  I call bullsnot.
