Am I the only one who actually thinks it looks okay? I expected much worse.

tbph, it feels like what that Kim Possible tv movie should've been.

Indiana Jones for kids...sounds about right.

Yep. It feels like a TV movie. They did their calculations and figured they may as well up the budget a little bit and stick it in cinemas.

Who remembers when Nickelodeon gave us live-action Fairly Odd Parents? You can’t tell me this Dora movie isn’t cut from the same cloth

Do we have to lump Pikachu in with this? This movie looks so bland.

Why would you disrespect Pikachu that has actually been well received by the majority for something that looks like a TV movie and an abomination proclaimed to be "Sonic"?

Battle of Kid's IPs

pretty sure that's all of them

This just looks like Journey 2 with less bankable actors

Looks funny to me. You all say it looks like it should have come out 10 years ago. Well, you will never guess when US comedies started to die OS

I was expecting a big budget $150m+ action adventure film, instead I got a <$50m kids film that looks like it came straight outta 2004. It’s giving me ‘Woody Woodpecker The Movie’ vibes, like it could go straight to DVD, TV, or streaming, and nothing would be lost.

A disappointment. A cheap movie (the CG monkey was clipping through the bag), and a cheap trailer.

Is Dora even still popular with the kids? This feels way too late.

That was the one thing that confused me since it was greenlit. Who is the audience for this? Kids today don't know who Dora is, the teens and young adults who grew up with Dora aren't gonna care. Adults will think this looks silly and cheap. There's like nothing interesting to any demographic.

And here I thought Sonic would be the movie that degraded it's source material the most. Boy was I wrong.

Dora's kids fans are offended by lack of fidelity. I'm almost sure they'll organize a petition to cancel the movie.
