Haters are now creating fake holidays to have an excuse for the movie performing over expectations, that's hilarious

Um, Easter Monday is a real holiday. It might not be celebrated in US but it is a celebration of Jesus appearing to apostles. It is called second Easter day in my country (Finland) and it is a national holiday which is why I originaly asked if it was a celebration in US.

$15m on Monday means Friday should at be in the low $20 millions, which would point to a weekend of at least $70m+.

Would that put 400 back in play?

I know it will cross half a billion quite soon globally. Tomorrow?

Kids didn't go back to school, teachers did though. On the school calendar it's called a Teacher In-Service Work Day. Not sure how widespread that may be though but regular business and government buildings were open. This 'Easter Monday' is nothing I've ever heard of either, must be very localized.

Anecdotal but at least some of the schools around the Peninsula were closed yesterdya.  And Monday traffic was light for a change.

As for the drops, numbers don't lie.  Easter Monday is known for good holds.

Even if it had had the best reviews in the world, I never saw it making much more than $400 million anyway.

I think it'll wind up around $365 million. Just see average legs after a huge opening and nothing very exciting to follow.
