Easter Monday was never a thing for me until college, but that's because it was a Jesuit school. Enough to have an impact but I don't think it's super widespread. Guessing most public institutions don't recognize it

Easter Monday isn't across the board but it's widespread enough to make an impact on the dailies just as Discount Tues does even though it's not nationwide.  It's why we won't see a big jump on Tues tomorrow, just like we didn't see one for FF7.

Kids didn't go back to school, teachers did though. On the school calendar it's called a Teacher In-Service Work Day. Not sure how widespread that may be though but regular business and government buildings were open. This 'Easter Monday' is nothing I've ever heard of either, must be very localized.

I am looking at calendar and it does say Easter Monday (C), but that's Canada. There is no Easter Monday, Jesus had already resurrected the day before...lol.
