That includes 2013’s The Conjuring ($318M) and spinoff Annabelle ($259.9M). New Line/Warner Bros.’ The Conjuring series overtakes Lionsgate’s Saw franchise (seven films with $874M B.O.) as the third highest horror franchise ever at the B.O. behind Screen Gems’ Resident Evil (5 titles, $915.7M) and Paramount/Blumhouse’s Paranormal Activity ($889.5M).
