Update on MT shows Pete's Dragons has been picking up. Obviously nothing extreme, but I think it will have a $20M OW.

1. Sausage Party: 20%

2. Suicide Squad: 17%

3. Pete's Dragon: 14%

4. Bad Moms: 8%

5. Jason Bourne: 6%

That's pretty good for it. But it's MT though. Such a small percentage of overall tickets sold.  I wish Fandango still had their top 5. Not sure why they stopped doing it.

Sausage Party had to open here in September, of course.

Someone is fucking with me I'm sure. Basically, every single movie I was anticipating this summer was moved to September. FUCK.

Are there holidays in Brazil in September?

They have Pulse now but it's only an app for the Ipad.  Fucking annoying.

Yeah I know they have pulse. But I liked it when they actually published the top 5 with the percentages.

Pulse is still there but its only the iPad. This morning Sausage Party was first, followed by Suicide Squad and then Pete's Dragon. Thats why I think PD will at least make $20M for its OW.

Sausage Party might make 27-33 million

Pete's Dragon can go both ways, making 20-25 million

Suicide Squad might make 41-46 million.  If Suicide Squad makes 50 million or a little more ( like some sources are predicting ), I think it'll be a huge win.

NO porn!!!!!! This is a family friendly forum.

Quote

Pictures: Keep them "PG-13". Most pictures should be safe to view at work. If you create a thread where you plan to post pictures that are PG-13, but not pictures that should be on a school or work computer, then you must add a warning (something like "Not Safe For Work") in the Topic Title or Topic Description. Please do not post any pictures that may get people into trouble due to not having that warning.

Also, keep your signatures and avatars safe-for-work. Pictures that are "R-rated" will not be allowed in signatures.

Any type of pornographic imagery is strictly prohibited and will result in the member who posted it getting banned from the forums.

Lastly, we ask that you please don't go overboard with pictures, smilies/emoticons, or animated GIFs on posts, signatures, avatars, or anything else. This can create a very messy, cluttered board that decreases the visual appeal of the forum, as well as hogs more bandwidth than necessary. Use your best judgment.

LOL that's a real life movie theater (or drive-in ad) from the not too distant past. Perfectly innocent.

So, let me understand something...

RT collects reviews. The tomatometer is at 84% now, while the topic critic tomatometer is at 85%. So, it's certified fresh, which is fine.

Trouble is that the critic average rating is 6.9/10. So, how the hell critics can like and/or love a movie, by giving it a 6.9 grade, which is basically a C? lol.  That's one of the reasons people shoudln't even take RT seriously. We have critics liking a movie and then giving it average scores ( if we go by numbers, 6.9 is a C grade ).
