If the plan is for Hugh Jackman to be the MCU’s Wolverine, that’s pretty lame, but  I can’t say I’m surprised by that. I wish Marvel could’ve just left the Fox X-Men “universe” behind, but I already knew they wouldn’t be doing that the moment they announced a third Deadpool movie.

I imagine Deadpool will start in his universe with Wolverine, and then somehow gets pulled into the MCU.

He's obviously not going to be the MCU's Wolverine. This is clearly a one off. Deadpool kills the X-men universe kind of thing.

Hell yeah, I'm down for this. Dark Phoenix bombing ensured a proper MCU X-Men reboot wouldn't be commercially viable for at least another decade, so this is a great way to pass that time. So glad to see all the Ryan x Hugh jokes have an actual payoff.

Im pretty sure Marvel have their big “everyone from the old movies is here” movie coming up, so the old guys coming back seemed inevitable to me.

We’ll see Affleck and Garner holding it together for the kids. We’ll get Wesley Snipes having his scenes awkwardly sliced into the movie because Ryan Reynolds refuses to be on set with him. It’ll be great.
