ROGUE ONE WEEKEND THREAD | Actuals R1 155.09m, Moana 12.7m, OCP 8.58m, CB 7.1m, FB 5.07m

There's been a fair amount of name-calling on both sides -- not in this thread, but things got occasionally heated in the weeks leading up to the R1 release.

But regardless, at this point, the best way to maintain honor isn't a he said/she said thing, but just a simple acknowledgement of being right (or wrong) without trying to redefine terms of success or slam other posters.

This board would make an amazing case study of how mob mentality works to any psychologist. It completely allows all reason and logic to go out the window just so you can stay with the herd and not have to think. Continue to ignore me, but in the end it's hilarious you're all agreeing with the exact same things I've already said because someone else refashions my sentiments back at me in an argumentative coating. ;)

I can send this to a psych student. You want that?

But you'd be right, because everyone knows bananas are jaundiced dicks.

Nice word choice

Given that's it's a follow-up, I expect the storyline to be different, and not to feature any death stars. I'm hopeful anyway.

We get a Death Moon

If Rogue One overtakes Finding Dory, can anything stop a Star Wars threepeat at the domestic box office?

Sorry to R1 but FOTR, well, THAT was an event! ;)

Nah, it didn't hit 500m, or was it 550m? After 300 pages of useless arguments I forget where the goal posts have moved to. Either way it's #notanevent.

Nope, EP8 winning both domestically, and WW 2017 is one of the most predictable thing ever, I wish there's a dark horse to add some excitement, but....
