Terminator: Dark Fate | Nov 1 2019 | Estimated to lose 122.6M

Not really. I'm looking forward to these two MORE than the Avatars, which are still too far away.

A Cameron touch makes all the difference. I REALLY hated T3 and T5 (T4 was very good, but that is another thing) - so when I heard of T6 I just rolled my eyes really hard. But now that I know it's Cameron -- I now have to urgently include T6 in the Shay's Top 10 WW 2019!

Terminator 2 was R but frankly it had very few R moments.

I guess the milk scene ...

Disagree. There were the scenes already mentioned plus during shootouts one can clearly see exit holes. That's a no go for PG13.

I think the late April would be perfect for teaser. 6 months before T6 release, just before the biggest hit of the summer (Avengers: Endgame). The full trailer later, in August.

Also, I still think they should move the film to October 25th (T1 35-year Anniversary).

T6 won't have $255-295 mln production budget (Genisys costs $153 mln and floped hard in US, it's clear they won't spent more money on the next one), and T2 definitely was an R-rated film.

Genesys was 158.5m gross with a 32m tax credit from Louisiana (and I imagine maybe some other in others jurisdiction).

James Cameron or not getting involved could change the budget requirement between movies (and going higher with it), but I would also extremely surprised by those 250+ figure

Cameron's direct involvement here along with his production company immediately guarantees a deeper investment, spiritually and of course financially.  I'm not surprised by the rumored figure.  Read my note on the last page about budgets split across multiple participants (it's not like Paramount is footing a $250m bill).  Cameron is taking one last big shot at this.  If this bombs, you may see Terminator again one day...but Cameron will wash his hands of it.  But if it goes well, they have a new trilogy in mind.   But as seen in this video, it's hilarious that Andy Vajna also wormed is way back into this franchise, too... R.I.P.

Wormed his way back in?  LOL...Carolco was a huge company when he got the rights to the film.  His involvement is pretty hands on, far from worming his way back in.
