Roseanne was fired for calling a black woman an ape which is a horrifying racial slur that white people have used against black people since forever. Rosanne didn't say that 6 years ago she said that this year. Furthermore Roseanne has never apologized for her racism. She has never changed her ways. If she had, I'd be on her side. 

 

At the end the day Disney knew that Roseanne was a racist when they hired her so I honestly don't know why they fired her for continuing to be racist. They should have never hired her is what my thoughts are. That is my complaint. And they knew that James Gunn was a provocateur when they hired him.

Comparing the Roseanne and James gunn situations is so unbelievably stupid. Making shitty pedo jokes doesn't mean you're a pedo. Throwing out racist insults means you're a racist.

She “apologized” for her racist tweets all the while retweeting more racist tweets. 

 

Just go check her twitter feed if you need confirmation.

Days after Disney ousted “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” director James Gunn for recently resurfaced controversial tweets, hundreds of thousands of fans have called on the studio behind the comic-book franchise to rehire the filmmaker.

Selma Blair, Dave Bautista, and director Joe Carnahan were among those who shared a Change.org petition on social media, urging Disney to “realize the mistake they made and not do it again in the future.” As of Monday morning, it has collected over 168,000 signatures.

What a hypocrisy! Gunn's "twitter jokes" were written the way they can be easily seen as statements, not "jokes", because they're not adressed to anything. That's basically thousands of pedo and rape "jokes" against one racist "joke". So Gunn's situation is much much worse. If he's so obsessed with pedo and rape "jokes", it could easily imply that there's something very wrong with him.
