And no obvious wishful thinking for the movie to underperform just because someone has a strong dislike/hatred towards that said blockbuster-film. It never works. It didn't work with movies like CA3, FD & Rogue One last year....won't happen here either. One's opinion isn't gonna tell people that it will do worse than expected. What the gross, Beauty and the Beast will make, it's gonna make.

 

It's not gonna suddenly miss $350-400M DOM, just because someone hated a film.

That's an okay number. It's not too huge, but it's not disappointment worthy. It might play a kid's movie, and it might play like a frontloaded teen movie. So, after 88 pages of waiting and shitposting, we know nothing.

This number doesnt mean anything imo until we know exactly how this film plays out. If it is going to play out like a kiddie/family movie then HOLY SHIT the number is huge. BUT it could also play out like a YA or comic book film and be front loaded in which this number is great but not HOLY SHIT types of level.

I'll give the movie credit:  That scene was one of the best 3D moments I've seen in a while (Ghostbusters is the only one that could top it really).
