Eh. Unbreakable is Shyamalan's best film but I'm not seeing a lot of traces of it here. And if that trailer was so intent on selling something more basic at least it could have gotten to the damn fireworks factory instead of being three minutes of set-up.

I don’t mind that Shyamalan is going for a different genre in each of these movies. Spices it up a bit.

Exactly. Split wasn't like Unbreakable despite existing in the same universe. So the argument that Glass has to be like Unbreakable feels folly.
