Where can I see a top 10 list with the biggest indies/limited release openings? Thanks

BOP's roundup breaks down by wide, limited, and platform.  Does mean that it includes holdovers in week 7 and the like, but might be what you're looking for.

Here is this weekend's: https://www.boxofficepro.com/weekend-box-office-joker-addams-family-gemini-man/

I was referring to an all-time lists, but thank you.

I was confident with TL because the good youtube views, but it seems than The Farewell did well despite the flop youtube views. So yeah, this has nothing to do with BO.

Let's see this weekend, i don't know what to expect anymore.

For some reason I can only find showtimes for The Lighthouse on the 24th and beyond. Nothing on the 18th or any weekday before the 24th. Can someone tell me why this is?

Same thing in Denver. Probably a limited release at first before it expands. Jojo Rabbit seems to be the same

Yeah, The Lighthouse is opening in LA/NY next weekend before expanding to a bunch of theaters the following weekend. Number of theaters around here have it set for the 25th. I'm guessing they're going the Suspiria route and releasing it in a couple hundred theaters in its second weekend.

Yes, cause if anything can be learned from Suspiria, is that it was a genuine box office success, and the studio handled its release perfectly.

Honestly The Lighthouse just seems extremely limited in appeal (like Suspiria was). A24 probably knows that mainstream success is unlikely. Might as well go in and hope for the best before it finds a second chance in the streaming afterlife.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-4 and Counting

Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold
TOTALS 0 32 195 8,464 2.30%

Total Seats Sold Today: 18

Comp

0.148x of It: Chapter Two 4 days before release (1.55M)

Adjusted Comp

0.035x of Lion King 4 days before release (814K)

0.360x of Hobbs & Shaw 4 days before release (2.09M)

Might as well mention that since I will actually have quality comps starting tomorrow, I'm dropping the It 2 comps. I'll probably keep the two adjusted ones since both still kind of fit, even if they're heavily flawed. And FWIW, at least looking at Addams Family, Dora and Abominable, even though they're still not perfect due to time differences, do point to a more realistic number.

Terminator: Dark Fate Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-18 and Counting

Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold

Adjusted Comp

0.683x of Hobbs & Shaw 18 days before release (3.96M)

I know I said this before, but this feels like the trickling phase for Terminator. A big slowdown in tickets sold. Not a bad thing, but do expect a couple declines in the comps.

Not bad a day at all. Maintained similar rate to yesterday on a friday. No change in prediction. Real action should start on Monday.

Very low numbers. Probably will check back on wednesday evening. Probably looking at 2m previews but its a wild guess.

Zombieland(T-4)

AMC - 8899/90753 (528 shows) +1072

Cinemark - 3369/67196 (594 shows) + 577

Excellent increase today despite overall numbers still being low. I am hoping it will get more shows added tomorrow. Stick too 2m previews for now.

Expecting $ 3.5-4.0M previews for Maleficent and 12-13x multiplier for a $ 42-52M OW

I hope it's a good movie, i kinda liked the last trailer / spots, but i'm not very confident

Anyway presales for it needs to catch up this week, or it won't reach even $ 40M
