As said earlier today, last Cinema West location fixed its seatmaps, and was reintegrated into the count.  Kinda an "eh" day, but perhaps that's a bit natural given there was a review drop day, followed by a Loki boost day.  All comps except for the very unofficial CM comp dropped as a result (while the CM one more or less kept pace).  

 

On the plus side, a ton of showings have already been added, so I won't be surprised to see a larger boost tomorrow as those seats are grabbed from folks waiting on the sidelines.

Solid day for BW. Trend is more like TLK than CM, if it continues, we will have quite bit drop today while if it follows CM, than a normal drop.

Ofcourse if BW MTC 1 and 2 ratio are closer to normal like AQP2 than what were for F9, could surprise as well.

Is anyone comping Black Widow to Cruella - ie, another day and date Disney film?  It's not quite a perfect audience equivalent, and Cruella was a lot smaller, but I'd be curious...

 

I worry the AQP2 and F9 comps are more problematic b/c neither had day and date with them...so while closer to audience makeup, further from audience options...and it would be nice to see the same estimate for previews if we compare to Cruella and the other 2:)...

Just did a quick comp. T-5 days before release, Black Widow's Thursday is 8.658x of Cruella's Thursday and Friday numbers. That translates to...66.73M for Black Widow's Thursday...and now you know why we aren't comping this.

That's a good thing:)...although it might be more interesting one day out vs now:)...not sure how early Cruella sold tickets...
