It did around 32.6ish over the last 7 days including an estimated 18.5 this weekend. It only needs another 23.4m to get to 400.

It will make that much even if it drops nearly 60% every week from here on out. Its looking good.

And getting to 400 without China is a great achievement. Thats more than most SH movies do

Thanks! Yea it held its own against JW which is what I was waiting to see if it could do.

Should be good for $400M then if barely. If it gets there it'll be a drop of $20M or less from the original OS which is pretty good imo

But what I find most impressive is both Deadpool films making $400M+ OS without China. I wasn't sure if the sequel could get there but I'm glad it's chugging along :)

And with China it probably wouldn't have a decline worldwide.

Yea originally before the film came out (back in like March lol), I'd said if the film manages to get a China release it would pass the original but if no China original it would fall in the $700M+ range.

Im sad to see it drop as much as it did domestically from the original BUT at the same time I'm glad to see that it's found its footing in the last couple weeks.

Fox should stop making violent R rated movies if they want it to be guaranteed released on China.

Logan was a violent R rated movie and it got released in China  Also just because it's not violent or R-rated doesn't mean it'll get a release....look at Suicide Squad.

Either way the R-rating is what helps a film like Deadpool succeed so take away the R-rating and the film will not only suck but its box office in other territories will take a hit too

I think it had a best case scenario domestically.  I think a drop was always in order and it was a matter of how much it would drop.

I hope X-Force will get a Chinese release but want to say that China seems to not have a problem with violence and Profanity but with raunchiness and one of China highest grossing movies Wolf Warrior 2 is pretty R-Rated with the Violence and Profanity minus the Raunchiness . I known that Deadpool 2 toned down the raunchiness but hopefully they can tone X-Force down from the raunchiness for a Chinese release but keep the Violence and Profanity. Beside Logan getting a Release in China both of the Kingsman movies which are also Fox R-Rated CBM adaptations got a Chinese release also.

DEADPOOL 2

Deadpool 2
20th Century Fox

After retaking the top spot at the international box office last weekend, the Merc with the mouth comes in 2nd this session, and again ahead of Solo: A Star Wars Story. Wade Wilson tracked down an additional $18.5M on 10,646 screens in 79 markets with some solid holds. The offshore cume is now $376M.

Japan, which is in the sophomore frame, led play for the weekend with another $2.22M to hold as the No. 1 Hollywood movie. The cume there is now $10.2M. The UK ($40M cume) and France ($19.9M cume) retained No. 2 behind Jurassic World. The latter was down just 42% in the 4th frame. Australia also held at No. 2 after four weekends with $24.8M to date, as did Brazil with $17.38M so far.

In Chile, DP2 is now Fox’s biggest superhero movie ever and has been No. 1 for four weekends with a running cume of $5.67M. Kuwait and Qatar releases are ahead this week.

13.7 dom weekend and 18.5 os weekend for 655.26 ww

making 2.5x the dom weekend adds 13.7*2.5 = 34.25 more dom

making 2.0x the os weekend adds 18.5*2.0 = 37.0 more os

655.26 + 34.25 + 37.0 = 726.51 ww (6.60x the 110 prod budget)
