I don't think so. I actually don't know the details, but I think since SoCAL is the one who initiated the bet in the first place, he decided that he's the only one who has to pay.

From what I understand of a BOT 10:1 odds bet, it mean:

If I loose the bet I give to the website 10 time what you would have giving to the website if I would have won.

Baby Driver is very young skewing, though my showing today would've suggested the exact opposite. Deadline's stats:

51% of Tuesday's audience was under 25

57/43 split in favor of males

Men under 25 gave it an 88% approval and were 31% of ticket buyers

Men over 25 gave it 81%

Women under 25 gave it 78%

Women over 25 gave it 65%

The movie met 55% of expectations and exceeded 37% of them

46% saw it primarily for action

21% saw it primarily for the cast

To be fair, it's exactly the kind of movie in which its primary target audience (young males) would show up mostly for the evening/night shows.

I guess you saw it around noon. Who else but old farts would be around then on a weekday?

I'm surprised women over 25 is that low.  My mom loved it.

Wonder Woman if it approaches 400 million it's legs will be around 4.0. Has any superhero movie ever done that good??

Excluding midweek openers and the like, I think the last superhero film to get a 4.0 multiplier was Batman '89.

Closest I can think of in the last 20 years is Spider-Man, but that finished with like a 3.4 multiplier.
