People know how much I loved Leap! Shame it's not doing better.

:sadben:

Yeah, it's a shame. I mean....it looked (and still looks) better than the last 2 animated films (Nut Job 2 & The Emoji Movie) before this, visual & animation-wise.

To be honest....if a studio like Fox, Warner Bros or Universal was distributing Ballerina/Leap in the U.S, i think it would have done a lot better at the box office.

Wind River was pretty solid. Really good atmosphere too.

Good to hear. I'm seeing it in about 3 and a half hours. I'd say I've been looking forward to it since first seeing the trailer but I never expected it to reach my theatre. I only found out a couple days ago when this week's show times for my theatre were released.

Really looking forward to it now though!

I didn't like it as Hell or High Water, but I still really enjoyed it. It's good to see Renner leading a film again, & as with Hell or High Water, it's clear Sheridan's a fan of Unforgiven, which is never a bad thing. Setting it in the snowlands too, was a good idea, it makes for some memorable "hard imagery".

So with all those arguments yesterday over whether Blade Runner and The Star's posters are good or bad, Paramount laughs and releases this magnificent work:

This NEEDS to be our background next month.

Meh.

That's actually quite boring and unimaginative.

Nothing will top that glorious painted-like poster with Jlaw holding her own heart.

Paramount just stopped tracking Transformers after 9 weeks. 130m was all they wanted, couldn't even be bothered to stick around for Labor Day.

always hate when they stop tracking a movie when it still makes over 100,000

With you actually. Fox are my heroes for what they are doing with Hidden Figures right now.

130M Domestic, 600M WW and they stopped. No further milestones or round figures in sight. Didn't double the 5 day opening in the end.

I don't know. Something about the contrast feels off to me.
