If Beale Street Could Talk is pretty remarkable. Arguably ends up with a little too much on its plate, I don't feel like its attempt to go beyond the immediacy and specificity of its story is entirely successful, but it's a very moving work. Great cast, with Colman Domingo's performance my favorite. Nice to finally have a Barry Jenkins movie whose acclaim I agree with.
