jedijake
Had no idea where else to ask this question so here it goes: Does anyone have ANY information about the status of Toy Story 4? From what I've read, the script was 75% scrapped by January 2018, new writer hired, no voice overs have been done and there has been NO news since then. There's no way they will be able to release it in June 2019 if this is the case. They can't write, record, film, edit, get the music, etc in one year. Not even in 18 months. So is Toy Story 4 one movie we can take off the list for 2019?

A little more space from TLJ and now with Solo having played out the general feeling about star wars is even more mixed. But then again we have a year before the marketing for Ep9 gets into gear and that could change things as well on the domestic front. Overseas I think 9 is gonna drop from 8, maybe even a lot. Right now I'd guess low to mid 600s, which means it could come in under Iron man 3 worldwide. MCKillswitch123
Gonna try to predict every weekend number one movie from here until halfway through August 2019 (to see how accurate my predictions are..... but I'm sure there's a lot of changes bound to happen, so it will never be 100% accurate). 2018: Nov. #2 - The Grinch Nov. #3 - Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald Nov. #4 - Ralph Breaks The Internet Nov.-Dec. - Ralph Breaks The Internet Dec. #2 - Ralph Breaks The Internet Dec. #3 - Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Dec. #4 - Aquaman Dec. #5 - Mary Poppins Returns 2019: Jan. #1 - Mary Poppins Returns Jan. #2 - Mary Poppins Returns (though I wouldn't be shocked if The Upside pulled the win since most Kevin Hart movies open above 25M) Jan. #3 - Glass Jan. #4 - Glass Feb. #1 - Glass Feb. #2 - The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part Feb. #3 - The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (Alita will give it a fight but I think that it'll retain the #1 spot due to the circumstances of the weekend) Feb. #4 - How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World Mar. #1 - How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (but I think it's gonna be very close between this and Madea Family Funeral) Mar. #2 - Captain Marvel Mar. #3 - Captain Marvel Mar. #4 - Captain Marvel Mar. #5 - Dumbo Apr. #1 - Shazam! Apr. #2 - Hellboy (given that Hellboy 2 opened so enormously, I feel like this franchise has some clout out there) Apr. #3 - The Curse Of La Llorona Apr. #4 - Avengers The Fourth May #1 - Avengers Cuatro May #2 - Avengers 1+3 May #3 - John Wick 3: Parabellum May #4 - Aladdin May-June - Godzilla: King Of The Monsters June #2 - The Secret Life Of Pets 2 June #3 - MIB June #4 - Toy Story 4 June #5 - Toy Story 4 July #1 - Spider-Man: Far From Home July #2 - Spider-Man: Far From Home July #3 - The Lion King July #4 - The Lion King Aug. #1 - The Lion King (I feel like Hobbs & Shaw will open in the 60-70 range and I see TLK above that in its 3rd weekend) Aug. #2 - The Lion King Aug. #3 - The Lion King Aug. #4 - The Angry Birds Movie 2 From here on out there ain't enough information about releases, so I'll just skip.
