Boom! In before the deadline! Especially funny because I wasn't even originally planning on doing one of these (due to coursework deadlines/general lack of enthusiasm), but I ended up scraping this together in like 3 hours. Mainly because I found out that today is the 10th anniversary of Speed Racer and that movie deserves aaaallll the love.

 

Admittedly, my list is probably somewhat biased in favour of recent/famous films, by virtue of the fact that I only put it together in 3 hours and didn't take the time to really shake my brain loose to remember all the older/obscurer films I really enjoyed, but it was still a surprisingly balanced thing, all things considered. I kept a running tally of each decade every movie was from and ended up with this.

Still need to work on watching more foreign stuff though (20 out of 100.) Or, to be precise, more foreign non-animated stuff. (5 out of 100).

Without a doubt the best thing about this thread is reading through all of the lists and finding movies I have not seen in ages and sometimes have never seen even once and adding them to my viewing list for the months ahead. I have already lost count of the films I have seen on other lists which I had forgotten about and would have included on my own list if I had remembered them.
