In Finland, BP is the most popular superhero movie since Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (which was the most popular superhero movie in 2017), and in fact just went past it in admissions.

That was a hefty underestimate for BP. It is going to play well into the early summer. Most everything else was overestimated, though. I wonder if the NCAA tourney or the Stormy Daniels interview cut into attendance slightly yesterday.

So black panther is with 38 days the movie that has the longest run of >$2m daily. Jimbo: the iron movie grossed 2m daily for 54 days.

With 17.1M, BP has the 4th best 6th weekend ever, and could drop 30% and still remain in the top 5 weekends. It couldn’t afford to drop much more than that though, with the current 5th best 7th weekend being The Blind Side at 11.91.
