Disney created a Christmas tradition of going to see a Star Wars movie during Christmas and pretty much had the holiday to themselves until Avatar sequels arrived... and then just went on and switched that up for no good reason?

People embraced that new tradition, don't ruin it!

They struck gold and then decided it wasn't meant to be?

tfw you push star wars out of december and kill the franchise.

Solo ain’t even the best Ron Howard thing coming out tomorrow :Venom:

It's the only Ron Howard thing coming out that isn't filled with Jeffrey Tambor's awfulness.

Even the shows after 8:30 at the AMC Empire don't appear to be selling too well right now. Pretty crazy stuff considering they have over 25 shows scheduled tonight

James Mangold during Logan s Press tour :

"Logan was such a great experience since this movie wasn't about selling Happy Meals and toys."

James Mangold Signs to direct the Boba Fett movie.

So much for the spin-offs being put on hold! They're full steam ahead and treating Solo as a blip

Just wait. Disney clearly hoping that $150 million tracking number holds true in the US.

Maybe the Bobba Fett movie will be a NC-17 mostly silent version of a bounty hunter a la Only God Forgive.

I would imagine it will still be a Mangold movie, coming from Logan/Greatest Showman projects.... he must have had a nice array of options.

it'll be a super subtle parallel to Only God Forgives because there's gonna be a scene where boba fett watches Only God Forgives on tv in a hotel.
