We all know you're camping out for the Dora the Explorer movie Rich, don't lie.

(I saw the trailer for that before Toy Story as well and died inside a little at the trailer ending with a fart joke)

Can you say delicioso?

I just don’t see these kind of domestic numbers for a BW movie. I’m thinking in the $250m-$300m range.

That’s around where I have it.

I got trailers for both Crawl and 47 Meters Down in front of Spidey.

(Well, I don't know if the Crawl thing was actually a trailer, it was only 30 seconds long. But the abrupt ending got a very audible reaction from the crowd.)

Jeez I need to search for the 47 Metres Down trailer on YouTube then I haven’t seen a single thing about it yikes

I've seen every Conjuring universe film in theatres and yet I have yet to see Annabelle.  I have personally found the Annabelle films to be quite disappointing.  Maybe there is a tepid response to this one because my thoughts kind of echo the general movie going public.  There's just no real rush to see this one because the last two films were very mediocre.  Also doesn't help that The Nun was horrible.  Franchise fatigue can happen to any film and we might be witnessing it now.

Yeah the recent TCU movies have been either horrible or pure disappointing. I was so hyped for Nun but it was fucking comedy rather than a horror movie. The only Annabelle movie which pretty good is the 1st Conjuring. And the prequel one is at least good. I hope that Conjuring 3 will be good, they need James Wan or the franchise is doomed if this shit fest continues

I would say around $60-65m domestic. Anyone agree?

Warrens didn’t help here. I wonder if it’s something to do with having a new horror film every week. Brightburn, Ma, Child’s Play, Annabelle, Midsommar, Crawl.

And being released in the middle of summer. August would’ve been much better.

July or August doesn't make a difference to a horror movie. Obviously people have lost interest in TCU due to the last few disappointing installments. Hopefully Conjuring 3 can save the franchise.

Don't get your hope too high since the director of Conjuring 3 is that of la llorona

Congrats to Aladdin for passing 900M. Will be fun to watch to see if it can crawl over $1B WW. Definitely has been the most fun film to track this summer.

Yesterday is having a nice little run. Should have probably over 35M DOM after this weekend with another week+ before TLK comes out. Could have a nice little 45-50M DOM run. Given its low budget it might turn a small profit for Universal.
