I scrolled too quickly, apparently it is supposed to be the second, but that number is definitely fake. Deadline reported 143M which is much closer to where we had it.

Not sure I agree with all these numbers, but if the trend of Marvel movies not releasing in China continue then I think this, Strange 2, and possibly Panther 2 miss the billie mark.

Feel like the Stagecraft has the same problems as green screen when it comes to what we've seen in this trailer vs low-light, low contrast stuff we've seen from D+ Star Wars shows and The Batman.

People needing to watch The Northman to realize a tentpole blockbuster IP produced by the Walt Disney company may not be very historically or mythologically accurate is something I didn't see coming in 2022 but at this point, nothing really surprises me anymore.

 

ANYHOO, Hela in Ragnarok DID point out that Odin 'Disneyfied' the narrative of his exploits to such a degree that he changed the decor of his entire palace with falsified fairytales using the gold and gems that was part of his plunder from countless bloody wars. So chill folks, there is an in universe reason provided for why the MCU take on Norse mythology is so different from the real thing. 😛

Yeah, a more "realistic" depiction of Norse mythology would've never flown with the Comics Code Authority back when Thor was introduced in the comics.
