Original Frozen had 800k in previews according to HSX spreadsheet.  Originally reported as 1.2m, but adjusted downward in 2017 according to one of the cells.

 

As I check, that 400k difference might approximately be due to the 343k in sales the first few days at the one theater that was showing it early.

If Thu drop is close to 30% feel 135 is as good as locked. Haven't used a very good Fri bump:

24.25+17(-30%)+37(+118%)+35.5(-4%)+21.5(-39%)=135.25

For benefit of newcomers, I’ll ruin the sarcasm with this explainer box. None of those ThFSS are related to Comscore, which isn’t visible yet. Is all an optimistic forecast based on some Keyser Thurs data and general Thanksgiving trends. It doesn’t look too crazy to me, but don’t treat it as anything more than an @a2k playing around with bumps.

no one doubted that. the degree by which it could do well is astonishing imo.

it's true OD/Fri was 33.7, and to beat that handily (possibly by 10%) on 2nd Fri and 2nd Sat is unexpected imo.
