Yea we're gonna drop all this non tracking stuff. That expressly means you, @excel1. Next post from you that isn't tracking related is a thread ban.    Anyone else continues, it's points.

Everything about it screams direct-to-Netflix. There frankly isn't any real reason to go see a movie mostly featuring phone screens and front cameras. If it actually followed up from Searching it could be doing better, but even then that movie has mostly faded away from public consciousness so it's still no guarantee.

Monday night is the last NFL game for ABC/ESPN (aka Disney), so launching ticket sales a week earlier than norm but with that added eyeball boost to start makes a fair amount of sense 

 

(unlike Universal which does the same, but months earlier than necessary)

According to Deadline, Women Talking will be expanding to 140 theaters this upcoming weekend so looks like they've scaled back the expansion again (it was supposed to go wide on the 20th). Guess they're waiting until the following week with nothing of note coming out for its wide expansion once the Oscar nominations are out to take advantage of the buzz (if it gets nominated for Best Picture).

I mean, probably do previews in the Avatar/Dominion range. About a month is typical even for the lower stuff.

Seems to be available on Cinemark website at least, but no announcement from US chains yet. Think it's just a mistake on Cinemark's part as Fandango and AMC are not working for me.

Speaking of Cinemark, AntMan is getting 5 and 4 screens (21 and 18 showings) at my locals for its OW set...so, they are definitely hoping for the MCU universe/Kang bump on this movie.  This is a set for an expected $100M+ opener (aka, a normal MCU opening set), not a $50-$60M one...

Well it should definitely be more of a 100 opener than a 50-60 one, so 😛

I would be very surprised if Ant-Man get Dominion previews range. Maybe I´m to pessimistic on this one but I feel like this will be closer to Ant-Man and The Wasp

Just wanted to let everyone know Im STILl waiting on some movies to come up that I can track. Looking at Cineplex: Knock at the Cabin-coming soon, Antman 4-coming soon. Missing Im guessing is a limited release at the moment because Im not getting very many screens available (someone said it was wide releasing on the 20th I think?)  Kind of wish I tracked M3GAN now, but had too much stuff post Holiday. 

 

So I'll be getting tracking numbers from up north soon......as soon as Cineplex decides it wants to open up the pre-sales :(
