Just check the list, 4th best non-DEC WED in 3rd week ever, only behind Incredibles 2, JW1 & Dory.

My prediction for the weekend was 53-57M so I guess it will land close to it and it is still pretty good. But fuc* all that, I was hoping for a 60M+ result.

I was hoping for 70+

29% drop damn. Expected 15-20%

End of weekend should be 390M+

48-54m weekend.

Based on what I'm reading in tracking thread walk-ups for JWD are looking stronger than expected. Wouldn't be suprised with 150M+.

Playing like aladdin after this weekend takes it to around 590m+.

I think it will recover to get to 600M   but not the  650M-700M range we were hoping for.

But won't be suprised if it falls off a bit and settles in 580s . Still a great run nonetheless.

It has a month till thor 4 which will slice huge chunk of it's audience.

Lol at all of this after getting a single Thursday night number.

Lol at all of the freak outs as well.  Is this the first time following the box office for most of you?

I don't see why everyone's already losing hope. It was always going to crater with the release of JW; but once the opening weekend of Dominion is over, the numbers will stabilise. That it has taken TG over 13 days to have its daily gross dip below 10 million — when Black Panther, which had a much higher opening and also insane WOM, dropped below 10 million on its 11th day — is massive.

625 million + domestic is still a go.

I mean if it's not the greatest number I've ever seen then it's pretty disappointing. Don't see what's hard to understand

It's called keeping expectations in check.

You've all been flying off the handle with dom prediction ranges Abit.

Like I said I think this is getting to 600M+

580s is just incase , light year or thor  break out more than expected.

Fri - 13.5M (+55%)

Sat - 19.0M (+40%)

Sun - 15.0M (-20%)

47.5M (-47%), still holding onto hope that it drops in the early twenties (%) next weekend.

in reality that's a good hold against a 100m+ opener , but still a huge letdown

With only the fourth best 2nd non-holiday/December Thursday of all time, it's hard to see theatres continuing to screen TG:M and I expect it will be pulled within the week.

Tom Cruise will likely never be able to get a movie made again
