Will note that if audience skews more towards women, that usually means a higher weekdays/Thursday and lower IM, plus WK had a 3pm start time. But at $1.7M, definitely mid, probably high teens

Damn so many things to take into consideration when predicting BO. Just as I think I figured it out turns out I left out at least 2-3 other important things. Thanks for the crash course. :)

@Doffy Crawdad is based on the book so built-in fandom.

Yes, though not a great comp given it was based on known IP, same for Dowton, which also goes OLD. Honestly not really a good comparable release post-pandemic, and weekday numbers have generally been weaker, so $20M from that Thursday wouldn’t be shocking either

The OW range is larger than normal after, on both ends

Hopefully it has longs legs in the box-office because it'll need it to be profitable with that $50M budget.

No big movie until black Adam 70m dom final maybe be feasible.

I think DOnt Worry Darling is headed for 20m+ opening too. Atleast there are some signs of life at the BO even if it’s small. It’s still important for theaters to have these type of films in order to sustain itself year round and of course for some variety.
