Off topic, but if anyone has forgotten how big a phenomenon The Greatest Showman was, the album is number 1 again this week here in the UK, its 36th overall week at #1 after releasing more than 5 years ago.

2.6m copies sold.

What? Nearly 9x Platinum? No thanks.

it lost its dolby screens from yesterday 5pm onwards but will keep its imax and other plfs

Locally, it lost its AMC PRIME screens and Cinemark XD screens completely. At B&B it is down to only two shows on one if it’s Grand Screens: 12:30 and 10pm.

I don’t know how widespread this is, but there is some evidence to suggest that it is losing considerably more than just the Dolby Screens.

Compilation chart...

"With greater sales (2,631,509) in the last decade than the two next most popular multi-artist releases together, 2017’s The Greatest Showman soundtrack is No.1 on the compilation chart for the third week in a row, and 36th week in total, on consumption of 2,549 units (99 CDs, 67 vinyl albums, 41 digital downloads and 2,342 sales-equivalent streams)"

doesn't really make sense how there's stuff ahead of it on the soundtrack chart that's behind it on the compilation chart. different metrics i guess. seems like total nonsense to me

It’s at more sales than its two closest competitors… combined. And one of those is the original Frozen soundtrack.

Do we think this arctic freeze in the north east will dampen Friday's numbers at all?  Feeling like 0 degrees up here.

I don't think so. As long as the roads are good, the cold will not impact films.

No way the WoM will carry 80 to #1. Can't imagine it to be good, the trailers were awful.

Now that 700m is dead and buried for A2, it's gonna be an exciting couple of weeks to see WATER vs TITANIC unfolding. My money is on Kate and Leo, but A2 will pass INFINITY WAR as well.
