I reckon they'll go for an unknown or a semi-known actor, Craig before Bond had only done a handful of Hollywood films like Tomb Raider and Road to Perdition as well as indie films like Layer Cake. Actually I think it was Layer Cake that secured him the role of Bond.

My current favourites for the next Bond are Dan Stevens and a British actor called James Norton who is IMO going to be hot property very soon, he's starred in a BBC drama called Happy Valley which I think aired on Netflix in which he played a serial killer and also Grantchester which aired on PBS, he's going to star in the upcoming miniseries of War and Peace with Lily James, Paul Dano and Gillian Anderson.

Craig is done right?

He doesn't have a contract according to Wilson but Barbara Brocolli said last month

Quote

“I always say it's like asking the bride as she's walking up the aisle who her next husband's going to be I can't think of anyone else apart from Daniel in that role and until he says he's not going to do it the field is not open. I really don't even want to think about the day he decides he doesn't want to do it but it's up to him, he'll let us know what he wants to do.”

Ominously she trotted out the same analogy about Brosnan during DAD promotion so...

And what the fuck gives with the terrible ass theme song? That was freaking atrocious. Like listening to nails on a chalk board. This entire movie was a complete bust.

Never employ a falsetto in a Bond opening credit sequence.

Dan Stevens is one cold SOB in The Guest. I think he will be perfect. I also think Michael Fassbender will be a great Bond. Just extrapolate all that smarminess he displays in Prometheus as a cyborg.

So Spectre was solid.  Not another Casino Royale or Skyfall, but still good.  I know for a lot of people on the internet everything is seen as either great or terrible, but this movie isn't gonna be seen as a miss.  I hope Daniel Craig comes back for 1 more movie.

This, pretty much. It has some real strong moments- though admittedly it had some moments that made me smack my forehead really hard, but eh. It's just a solid "James Bond adventure episode," that seems to be setting up for one final big one for Craig. My crowd seemed to really enjoy it, though they didn't quite seem to fall in love with it or anything. IMO, reception seems to be that it's a fun enough and kinda flawed James Bond movie. Some people online are acting like it's TF2 or something.

Too much falsetto. It would be tolerable if it weren't half the song.

The song feels like it is building to a big chorus which never comes. Most of the best Bond songs have a memorable hook which this song just lacks, I forget what it sounds like just after listening to it.

Yeah, i agree about that this film is certainly no TF2. TF2 was hated considerably by many who saw that film and had very little redeeming qualities, in people's opinions.
