Well...if it performs really well in China....it would make up for what other OS-markets are making.

I think it would probably have to make around $250-300m in China for that to happen. So Highly doubtful.

It'll need around 800M OS for 1B WW. Big drop in Europe where Skyfall was huge, so unless it makes 300M in China i doubt 1B will happen.

Saw it yesterday.    

 

 It was a little too long and dragged in a couple places but it also had some pretty good sequences. 

 

I liked the the opening and the early scene with Q. 

 

The chase in the mountains when he's flying the plane was cool and the fight on the train was great. 

 

The problem I had was that the part when there at the bad guys lair should have been the climax of the movie. 

 

Overall it was decent enough but definitely not one of the better entries.

Spectre made an estimate of 73mil its OW in the US (2nd best Bond OW behind Skyfall). How does this match up with predictions?

On the Best of Bond Spotify station, Sam Smith introduces Die Another Day as "one of my favorite Bond songs cause it's so different!"

 

What he doesn't say is that it also causes cancer.

to speak about my favorite James bond it is and will always be Goldeneye. I grew up with i played the game a lot. I loved the tina turner song the bad guy was awsome Alec!!

The music of Eric serra was epic the pacing very good the action scene .... For me it's the ultimate james bond movie. I liked Skyfall but not as much as many for me it was ok but it did not feel like a James bond .

Blofield his foster brother died when he was 17 and makes a reference that was 20 years ago.  That can't be right can it?   Yeah, I know about the Austin Powers unbelievably stupid soap opera re-imagining but 20 years ago?  Are we supposed to buy that Blofield and Waltz are 37 yrs old and Bond is even younger than that?  That can not be right...

I didn't remember hearing any years being thrown out in the moviebut yeah there's no way Bond and Blofeld are supposed to be only 37. I was thinking 30 years or so.
