New character as created from scratch just for the film or new as in an additional character (from the comics) that had not been part of the film from the get go? I can totally imagine adding either Magma or Selene (the black queen).

The movie moving looks like it’s starting to fuck up Marvels plan to merchandise these characters

 

 

Im guessing Magik was meant to be more of an anchor for this dlc with the movie giving her profile a boost. I won’t be surprised if we accidentally see more exposure for the character in the coming weeks.
