Could someone post list of film that dominated many weekends (consecutive/noncon) I only know that Spirited Away is no.1 with 18 weeks?

From Corpse/WoKJ:
Spirited Away achieved 16-consecutive weeks at #1 in terms of admissions (domestic sources rank films by ticket sales), but lost in week 12 to Tomb Raider in gross (recapturing the top spot a week later); Frozen achieved 16-consecutive weeks at #1 in terms of gross, but lost to Detective Conan in week 6 in admissions (recapturing the top spot a week later).

This weekend is the follow-up to a weekend that benefited from having the 1st of the month (nationwide discount day) fall on it, so drops are going to be much higher than normal as a result, especially in terms of admissions. Monday is also a holiday, Health-Sports Day, so weekend business could be spread out over the next three days.

>Your Name. will, unsurprisingly, repeat atop the box office for a seventh-consecutive weekend, however, there are signs now that its performance has begun to slow to normal levels. It's going to experience its worst drop-to-date so far, but a drop in the low/mid-30s would still be pretty good after a past weekend having a discount day occur over it.

Its seventh weekend will still be among the top 10 highest of all-time, likely landing somewhere between 7th-9th on the list. Its accumulative total will continue to be higher than almost everything as it'll become the 11th highest-grossing film of all-time after Sunday with a total around ¥14 billion, ahead of every past film besides Spirited Away and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone after seven weeks.

From there, we should have a close race for second place this weekend:

>Jason Bourne earned itself a solid first day yesterday, bringing in around ¥100 million ($1 million). Its pre-sales for Saturday are also good, so an opening weekend of ¥300 million or more looks reasonable, bringing its three day total likely above ¥400 million ($4 million).

An opening weekend of ¥300 million+ will be much higher than the last film, The Bourne Legacy (75% higher), and will be on par with The Bourne Ultimatum's ¥325 million opening, The Bourne Supremacy's ¥324 million opening, and The Bourne Identity's ¥302 million opening, respectively. The Bourne franchise isn't a blockbuster series in Japan, but it's clearly very, veryconsistent with all the Damon films opening within 7% of each another.

>High & Low: The Red Rain has some impressive pre-sales, down only about 20% compared to the first film in the supergroup's multimedia project from July. I figured the dropoff would be notably higher, and while I think it'll end up falling behind further than 20%, the fanbase is still supporting this one quite diligently.

>Your Name. claims its seventh-consecutive week atop the box office, delivering the sixth biggest seventh weekend of all-time. Its estimated seven-week total is also the third highest ever after seven weeks in release, trailing only Spirited Away and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

And having likely exceeded ¥14 billion with over 10.8 million admissions after Sunday, it's become the eleventh highest-grossing film of all-time and the fifteenth most-attended film of all-time after seven weeks in release.

>Jason Bourne was able to get the Bourne franchise back on track after a disappointing showing from The Bourne Legacy, and may have delivered the biggest debut for the franchise yet. The debut here keeps the Damon films on an extraordinarily consistent level at the box office.

Opening Weekends:
¥335 million - Jason Bourne (Estimate)
¥325 million - The Bourne Ultimatum
¥324 million - The Bourne Supremacy
¥302 million - The Bourne Identity

>High & Low: The Red Rain comes in somewhere between 25-30% lower than July's High & Low: The Movie, but having retained 70% or more of the more hyped first film's audience from the supergroup is quite impressive.

>Your Name. claims its seventh-consecutive week atop the box office, delivering the sixth biggest seventh weekend of all-time,selling a further 513,000 admissions. Its seven-week total is the third-highest of all-time, trailing only Spirited Away and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

After Monday's holiday, its total reached an astounding ¥14.56 billion ($141.8 million) with 11.19 million admissions. It's now the eleventh highest-grossing film of all-time, and the fourteenth most-attended film of all-time. I've been doing some projections and I see a comfortable path to ¥18 billion ($175 million) and 13.7/13.8 million admissions, but won't be surprised if it makes a run at that ¥20 billion ($200 million) milestone and over 15 million admissions.

>Jason Bourne debuts in a distant second place, but it has a lot to celebrate: Over the weekend frame, it sold a good 246,617 admissions across 416 screens, making it the best opener in the Bourne franchise in terms of admissions AND gross.

And after Monday's holiday, and the early start on Friday, its four day total reached a great ¥585.6 million ($5.6 million) with 429,196 admissions. It's very likely going to exceed the ¥2 billion ($20 million) milestone, more than enough to make it the highest-grossing entry in the franchise as well.

>High & Low: The Red Rain debuts in third place, selling 224,108 admissions on 313 screens over the weekend frame. This opening is down 31% compared to the supergroup's first film back in July, but I'd consider this debut still pretty successful since generating the same amount of hype so soon was very unlikely. After Monday's holiday, its three day total reached 387.8 million ($3.7 million) with 298,639 admissions.
