This has been painfully obvious from the start of Zaslav's reign. He never wanted to keep Warner for the long haul. It's a classic pump-and-dump scheme. Gut as much content left over from the previous regime to reduce debt, load whatever remains up with a bunch of big name first-look deals in order to make it look attractive to potential buyers, and then sell it off so that said deals won't be your problem anymore by the time they start providing results. That Mickey 17 delay suddenly looks a lot more insidious now, since by the time it finally is out the current regime might already be gone, akin to New Mutants.

Jack Warner must be furious at Zaslev.

The rumors about Zaslav wanting to sell the company have been going on at least as far back the Batgirl fiasco.

Question is who would buy?

I think if there is a sale it would be to somebody or a company not currently involved in the film business. I don't think any of the studiios are in finiancial shape for what buying WB would cost, except fo Disney, and Disney has to know a sale would never go through; it barely got by the Anti Trust laws with the Fox muerger and would face a uphill battle with a WB Purchase.

200k likes for concept art is crazy. Feels like people are more ready for a new Batman Beyond adaptation than WB think.

Who would be the voice of the old, bitter Bruce Wayne now that Kevin Conroy is gone?

It was the old Bruce Wayne that made the series work. Would have been terrible without him.

Troy Baker

Peter Weller

Bruce Greenwood

Rino Romano

David Giuntoli

How much did Aquaman's budget inflate because of the reshoots/post production? Wonder if it would've broke even at that earlier budget number.

Still didn't do great but its impressive that their highest grossing film since Aquaman 1...was the sequel that they spent all year saying was the worst thing ever and dumped it with next to no marketing.

Everyone wants to work at WB. Internet is not real life

Yeah, Hollywood is so cutthroat and fickle that smaller talents don’t have the clout to just rebuff a major studio, while the bigger talents are just too big and influential to be messed with.

Many thought WB would be ok that aquaman dodge the worst kind of flop but clearly they aren’t happy still.

You spend the kind of money Warners did on Aquaman you expect big profits. They did not get them.

The name of the game is "Return on Investments". Many studio execs have been fired not because their departments lost money, but but because they were not brining in  the kind of money they should have wihat they spent.

Every studio depends on a few blockbusters not just to pay for themselves and turn a profit, but to cover the costs of the films that fail...and every studio is going to have filma that fail every year. When the blockbuster do not produce the expected money, you hav e got a problem.
