this movie's impending floppage, along with the failure of Lightyear has me thinking about how audiences respond to old spinoffs of older cartoon movies.

For some reason they still go for those Minions though.

I wish I had seen this in 3D because it would have probably looked amazing. I wish it had gone just a hair further with the theme but the atmosphere and voice acting carried the "scary" parts so much.

This was a great fun time. Lots of great action, heart and laughs. Also definitely hinting at a Shrek 4 at the end. Definitely go watch this during the holidays if you can, and bring the family.

The first one was released in 2001, then it was follwed by a sequel in 2004 and the third one in 2010
