Beautiful scene. Pretty sure me and my friends laughed uncontrollably when it happened. Still a fun time at the theaters, tho. That and a scene just before where we have the best hands of the business joke.

Haven't seen the movie so without context it just looks kinda bizarre, but I guess since TJ Miller is kinda heavier he runs slower and dies?

He was trapped in the car prior to running so the others had a headstart on him.

 

I have to say it's one of the biggest practical explosions I've ever seen in a film.

It was really insane to see them filming that, but the TJ Miller part is fucking hilarious

Bay is the best director in hollywood in terms of turning explosions into shinny fireworks.

 

In fact almost all explosions in his movie look like fireworks, which of cause is his style.
