Reviews don't always matter but sometimes they do. Do you guys think Gravity would have opened as high as it did if it weren't for the reviews?

Gravity had really good word of mouth and had a lot of talk by other people(not just critics) though Piers Morgan loved it and I knew people who said it was really good so....

Prisoners was certified fresh the movie had a decent debut and went on to a decent gross but it had a second weekend drop that was steeper than the other comparable WB fall titles from years past. So in conclusion guys reviews don't mean shit unless if it was expected to disappoint in the first place. I'm done

How much do these actors work for if the budget is that low?  Half a mill each?

Depends. Some actors are willing to work for lower paychecks for specific projects (unless the actor himself can't demand a decent paycheck, which is often the case).

with good legs Maze Runner can make 100m and maybe 150m overseas and 250m worldwide. On a 30m budget. This is nothing but a success. A new franchise is born.

75 million is a possibility 100 if it holds well in October Edited by Maxmoser3

well deserved..well deserved indeed

that should be a lesson for Hollywood..stop being greedy..tighten up your hands while delivering quality..keep your budgets low and no movie would ever flop  :)
