Will someone please explain how Annie "looks like crap" ? How does it look like crap by looking at it? You can look at Seventh Son and tell its crap. You could look st Oogieloves and tell its crap. You could look at all low-budget R rated sex comedies and tell theyre all crap. How does Annie? It looks typical. You guys think if its not for you, its not for anyone, thats wrong and so subjective.

I think it looks cute. It's probably getting bagged because for some reason, elitist film snobs believe kids should be seen and not heard in movies. They tend to bag on a lot of live action kids flicks, especially when it's about a little girl.

Why do Variety seem to think The Hobbit's gross is good and that it could be the best of "them all?" Il-informed?

They say a lot more people are talking about the final Hobbit film claiming it has 50% more search activity and twice the Twitter volume of “Smaug.” Perhap perform better over the xmas period as a whole than DoS did last year.

Night at the Museum number not great, looks like it will struggle to get to $20 over the weekend. Also wonder how much Annie was hurt by the film being leaked a month in advance...

62% rise for Hobbit better than some were expecting, heard someone say 40% rise.
