Wow, it's making more than twice as much in the UK as any other overseas territory! It's going to completely smash Skyfall's all-time box office record there.

SW7 will no doubt have a massive gross, will it join the $2 bill club?,and if it does how far up will it reach? Time will tell. Highest-grossing films adjusted for inflation Worldwide, based on inflation figures 2014. The $2 billion plus members 1 Gone with the Wind $3,440,000,000 2 Avatar $3,020,000,000 3 Star Wars 1977 $2,825,000,000 4 Titanic $2,516,000,000 5 The Sound of Music $2,366,000,000 6 E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial $2,310,000,000 7 The Ten Commandments $2,187,000,000 8 Doctor Zhivago $2,073,000,000 9 Jaws $2,027,000,000 What a weird estimation. Avatar over titanic... >>> Anyways, star wars is massive in Latin America, at least in the hispanic countries. In Chile its has like 50% of the theaters
Agafin
Does anyone know what the Dom/Intl ratio for TFA would be like if it had 2011 exchange rates? Right now it seems far stronger domestically (with 48/52) even though it broke opening week records in several OS markets (excluding China since it hasn't opened there yet ). It should do atleast 10million USD in India which is way more than interstellar, very surprising number for me. If television channels can screen as many times as possible 1to7 parts before release of 8.It might jump big like ff series in Asia. Imo. Great to see it will not bomb in India

Ajde
Top OS markets as of 25.12 Bear in mind that there are some muted increases over such days as Christmas Eve or Christmas Day as it coincided with typical xmas chores people do. Traditionally Xmas days are knows for having their own trajectory and it's kinda hard to straight out judge the performances movie pull on those days. However, what can be said is that in some markets there are ZERO, NADA, NIENTE, no screenings lets's say on the Christmas Eve or 25th of Dec. People simply don't go to the movies that day. The Boxing Day is another story, prepare for a shitload of bucks in income.
