It's widely considered a well-made movie, at the very least. Dishonest? Maybe. It's straightforward and unpretentious (if a bit basic and un-flashy). It's going to beat the fucking shit out of Mockingjay (probably both), though. Thank God.

Yeah, I don't care what anybody says, AS is a well made movie. A mediocre movie would never leave the audience stunned and silenced at the end the way this superb movie did.

The third is having some awful legs. It won't even be able to reach 100M from a 40M OW. The direction is atrocious. It made my head hurt during the first 2 action scenes. There is no justification for not hiring a decent director and keeping that hack for this one again after the terrible job he did with Taken 2.

Check out Taken 1's director next film, could be great, Gunman with Sean Penn.

With all due respect, we have several award shows where the public votes. The two biggest ones are People's Choice Awards  and the MTV movie awards, and they can be about as extreme as the oscars.

Yeah how many times did Twilight win?

People are stupid.

Nice drop for Paddington! Steep drop for Annie. Might finish under 2011 The Muppets

FOX wanted to make a third one as cheap as possible because they're already shelling out 20M for Neeson. Taken 3 really has that direct to video feel for me. Not surprised with the poor legs

You know it's bad when you can't even afford Xander Berkeley and have to go straight to Dougray Scott

Yeah, MTV really did go downhill. When they first came out, they did what I thought they would do, reward the movies that were good that didn't get rewarded at the oscars (like the year when we had Terminator 2 vs Silence of the Lambs, both outstanding movies, but T2 was a bigger draw with the younger crowd)
